Your Meaningful Role:

As our SENCO, you'll make a profound difference in the lives of children who need that extra bit of care and attention:

• Engaging with Children: Oversee and support children with additional needs, ensuring they receive personalised care and attention
• Guide and Inspire: Mentor team members through role modelling and hands-on support to create the best opportunities for every child
• Create Tailored Learning Journeys: Develop and implement specialised support strategies that help each child reach their full potential
• Build Relationships: With families and outside agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each child
• Manage Support Documentation: Ensure all supporting documents and information are completed effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Safeguard with Compassion: Maintain the highest standards of care while upholding safeguarding requirements and Ofsted guidelines

Is This You?

• You hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
• You understand safeguarding and SEN requirements inside and out
• You have experience working with children aged 6 months to 4 years, particularly those with additional needs
• You have strong experience in supporting and engaging families
• You possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• You have an unwavering belief that every child deserves the very best start in life, regardless of their challenges
